Traditionally, the primary importance of herbarium was related to questions of taxonomy, the science that includes identification, nomenclature, and classification of objects. But Old Trunk looked at it with a different perspective when we looked at our friend's herbarium collection.

Engaged in the field for almost half a decade, He has completed his masters in Botany and has continued to work for institutes like Department of space And department of technology.

His research and endeavours have led him to explore the forests of Gujarat, MP, Maharashtra and various other regions. Resulting in a collection and preservation of the most exquisite and unique fauna that he came across. After an in depth tour of his herbarium, we handpicked some of those lovely plants according to their form and aura. after selection, we carefully pressed them into the handcrafted wooden products frames with an empty canvas background.
when we looked at Ankur's herbarium collection, we saw not only it's scientific importance but also it's beauty, the idea of a plant (or a fragment of it) being preserved forever. These pressed plant frames create a natural environment around you. Some of the exquisite ones, when carefully preserved, retain most of their color, making it a great choice for indoor decor.
